Summer Races

With summer just around the corner, we have some out of province races happening before the summer races begin.  The 2nd Annual Survive the Triangle, in Salmon Arm by the Shuswap Rowing and Paddling club, on June 23rd weekend should provide our first taste of summer!  Registration is on line.   The following long weekend race  at " Lotus Iron"   Race registration is on line for OC6 on Saturday June 30th, and small boats, Sunday, July 1st.

Paddle Wheel Paddle is a small boat race held by the Vernon Paddle Club this coming weekend.   Race time are 10:30 for long course, and 11:00 am for short course.   There is a BBQ after the race.

Also this weekend is Wai Nui, Why Not? in Toronto, and the Parry Sound Paddling Extravaganza.  Wai Nui, Why Not has been running for over 5 years and is a 12 km race on Lake Ontario.  Start and finish at Lakefront Promenade Park, Mississauga with a BBQ lunch and awards.
