FGPC Wetdashe: paddlers from around BC paddle 600km for men’s health

November 19, 2018 · 0 comments

Congratulations to the more than 400 paddlers from Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland who queued up at the start line of FGPC’s 2018 Wetdashe dry change race to raise funds and awareness for men’s health.

Aside from a few cold water hulies, the event was warm and dry, with plenty of race-memory moments along the way.

Participating crews ranged from classic mixed rosters of 12 to up to 18 paddlers for “club” crews; most crews selected 24km heats (8 x 3km laps), and some chose 12km (4 x 3km laps). Race results for the 27 participating relay crews, including lap times and rankings, are now available. Click here for results.
