    Hey all,

There’s been very little interest shown in the Downwind Race, so we are cancelling it. BUT!! There are a number of PRCC club members that still want to race. So we are going ahead with a club race practice at the same time and the same format. Afterwards we plan on going out for food and drinks.

What this means is there will be no timers, no registration and no safety boat. But it’s still a race (under the “two boats on the water means it’s a race” rule). And the money you would have spent on entry can now go to food and drink somewhere.

All the safety rules of the race still apply. Lifejackets and PFD’s are mandatory and must be worn. You must be self-sufficient in whatever conditions we have on the day. You will still need to be a member of CORA.

See you there. E-mail if you have any questions.
