Title:     Intent to Compete Registry for Team Canada - Sacramento 2008

click for bigger image Register your intent to complete Online for Sacramento 2008 World Sprint and check out who has registered to time trial on the Cora Sprint page.

As you may know, outrigger sprint racing is growing in the paddling community. Last year, Lotus Sprints and Bridges registration was full prior to race eekend and teams were turned away. New sprints have been added to the race schedule to begin building Cora's Sprint season.

Canada will be hosting the IVF world Sprints in Penticton, BC in 2012. The next world Sprints are in August 2008 in Sacramento, California. The sprint racing council has posted the selection process for Team Canada on the CORA Sprint website. It is our hope that you will help us encourage and develop competitive teams that can compete against the best from all countries, including Hawaii, California, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and TAHITI by 2012.

Team Canada will be comprised of athletes from both East and West.
East and West time trials will be hosted in the Spring of 2008 for both V1 and V6 spots but it's never to early to recruit interest and people. The two time trails are in place so that athletes do not have the expense of traveling across the country to gain a spot on a National Team. It is our hope that hosting two time trails will foster better growth and development.

Check out the selection process for Sacramento 2008 IVF selection process. Please take some time to look through the information and present at your next club meeting.

Those who register their intent to compete now, will receive further updates through this year.
