Seasonal Safety

Fall:  As it starts getting darker sooner it's time to bring out the lights! Stay visable on the water.

Winter:  Dress warmly with heat retaining, moisture wicking fabrics to avoid hyperthermia. Bring a change of clothes for after the paddle.

Spring:  Make sure your spraydecks are in good shape because conditions change rapidly. Choose a course that allows for completely different water conditions on the way home. It just may blow up!

Summer:  Time for UV protection - sunscreen and sunglasses help prevent skin and eye damage from the extra exposure and glare when you're on the water.
