Attention Race Directors, Club Reps and Paddlers
The 2009 CORA AGM and Technical Meeting will be held on the November 21/22 weekend at the Jericho Sailing Center.
If your club would like to include their race as a sanctioned race or schedule a *New* race next year.. please have a race application completed and returned to CORA by November 13th, 2007. The race schedule will be discussed at the CORA Technical Meeting on Saturday Nov. 21st, 10:00am at the Jericho Sailing Centre and then presented to all paddlers on Sunday, Nov. 22nd at the CORA AGM. 2010 Race application is found on the resource page under CORA Forms.
The Technical meeting is held every year the day prior to the AGM to discuss new ideas, and next years race schedule. We have a variety of proposals to discuss including insurance, the CORA Cup points system and opening up the OC6 class rules among others. I would encourage all clubs to send their Cora rep for input at the technical meeting and voting at the AGM. We need your clubs feedback !

2009 CORA AGM - Sunday November 22nd
The CORA AGM will be held Sunday November 22, at Jericho Sailing Center, Vancouver BC at 10:00am.
Please come and support your racing association by electing a new board and providing feedback on this race season and thoughts on next season.
IMPORTANT We have a difficult but important decision to make about the level of insurance CORA provides. Please read the CORA Insurance Questions - 2009 discussion and CORA Insurance 2008 Presentation documents on the CORA Resources page.
Proxy voting is allowed at the CORA AGM. The Proxy form is available under the resource section of the CORA website and can be submitted by email or regular mail.
