Iron Course – This is the feature race of our event. It is long enough to challenge the toughest crew and technical enough to challenge the wisest of steerspeople. While our waves are not huge open ocean monsters, the coastal B.C. conditions are extremely variable, renown for their 5m tidal differences and associated currents, and the Straight of Georgia can provide relentless waves. The circular course features upwind and downwind paddling and incredible scenery.

This event is approximately 2.5 hrs, 17 miles/27.2 km and runs on Saturday.

Divisions: Mens, Womens , Open- Master and Sr Master. The Mixed division (minimum 1 man, maximum 3 men) will run within the men's event.

*Cash Prize – Exact amount yet to be announced. Divided among members of the iron team w/ the fastest time in both the men’s and women’s event. Doesn’t matter if a team is Open or Masters or Sr. Master, overall fastest time takes the cash.
