1st Annual North Vancouver Sprints - Sunday Apr 29th

Location-North Shore Auto Mall - when entering North Vancouver, go north on lions gate or Take grouse mountain exit east stay on Marine Dr for 2.7 km turn right or south on fell Ave for 0.7 km. South of Auto mall sign
Race Description:We hope to bridge the gap between these sports to strengthen local competition. The race is open to all ages. The race course is 500 meter sprints and will be run in heats in 15 minute intervals. There will be 4 canoes per heat. You MUST wear a lifejacket. We will have a safety boat on site and we have requested St.Johns Ambulance to be present.
Open to- flat water kayaking, outrigger solo racer, dugout canoes, singles, doubles and surf ski. What ever floats!

Door Prizes-We hope to have a prize for every competitor. Some prizes that have been donated so far is a Sony 5 disc player, Billy Blade Paddle, Native art carvings etc...
Facilities-Light refreshments wil be provided. All vendors welcome.
Entry Fees-$10 per paddler and racers must have CORA membership
